His academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UNLV (1997) and a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (2001). He was admitted to the Nevada State Bar that same year and built a strong judicial foundation early in his career by serving as an extern for the Honorable Howard D. McKibben and as a law clerk for the Honorable William A.
