Mr. Bowman attempted to recoup funds loaned by my mother to another individual. He was able to obtain a judgment from the court in my favor after my mother's death.
I was impressed by Jennifer & her assurances, & paid $400.00 for a legal letter to be sent within a few days due to time-sensitivity. I requested specific information from him via email & messages, requested that he look over previous correspondence to understand the case, & never heard back. A week later, I finally received a rough draft letter that seemed to be a form letter with a few personal details thrown in, including details I requested he NOT include. To this day, I still have never spoken to Mr. Bowman. After a few more emails, phone calls, & phone messages requesting a refund, today I was told point-blank that I would not receive one because they wrote a one because they wrote a letter-a completely ineffectual letter that still has not been sent two weeks later. Jennifer made excuses about Mr. Bowman being in a jury trial. I have reported Mr. Bowman to LegalMatch & opened a dispute with my credit card company.
Mr. Bowman was hired to handle a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy case. He was fired about 1/2 way through due to several occasions of invalid information being submitted to the courts, documents submitted late, being late to court dates and invalid and unauthorized additional charges outside of our contract being billed. Completely unresponsive and unprofessional! Check CA Bar website -- he has been disciplined in the past.
