Bill Denver is an experienced trial attorney. The Denver Law Firm fights to protect policyholder who have been denied full coverage from insurance companies and to ensure claims are properly paid. The Firm also represents businesses involved in various disputes. Before founding The Denver Law Firm, Bill was a partner in an AmLaw 100 firm in New York. His litigation group was recognized as a national practice leader by Chambers. He has represented a range in clients from Fortune 500 companies to individuals while utilizing aggressive and cutting edge strategies. Bill's clients have, to date, secured over half a billion dollars from adversaries.Earlier in his career Bill served as law clerk for the Honorable Herman Michels (past Chief Judge of the New Jersey Appellate Division). After his clerkship, Bill went on to work at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. While there, Bill handled hundreds of criminal cases and conducted numerous trials to verdict.
Mr. Denver was also appointed to the District IX District Ethics Committee by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in September 2018.
Among Mr. Denver's more notable representations:• Guided the Adelphia Trust through mediation and negotiated to obtain an additional $20 million payment from insurance carriers of prior counsel.• Secured payments for defense costs and for fees from Directors & Officers insurance carrier of hotel management company.• Negotiated with two insurance carriers and reached agreement whereby insurers shared millions of dollars in costs to defend client from lawsuit.• Filed lawsuit for homeowner facing Superstorm Sandy losses. Lawsuit alleged bad faith conduct by insurance company and included allegations against insurance broker who placed coverage. Case successfully settled at mediation.• Led teams who successfully mediated a number of additional Superstorm Sandy loss claims.• Conducted internal investigation leading to dismissal of lawsuit.
