Andrew Bondarowicz, Esq. is a founding partner of Solop, Bondarowicz & Gargulinski, LLC where he leads the Property, Transactions & Business practice areas. As part of his practice, Andrew has worked with thousands of individuals, families, businesses, professional athletes and non-profits on a variety of matters ranging from business and real estate transactions, estate and probate matters.
Andrew started his legal career representing professional athletes, coaches, entertainers, and celebrities on a variety of transactional matters. As a former National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) certified Contract Advisor and agent for ten years, Andrew personally represented over 100 players in contract negotiations and other legal needs. He expanded his practice to meet the needs of his growing client base and the personal legal services they required such as business and real estate ventures, nonprofit formations, wealth preservation and estate planning and other legal needs. Andrew also went on to serve as strategic counsel for several professional sports organizations on a variety of matters including governance, operations, compliance, trademarks and rights of publicity, social media and marketing issues. Today, he maintains a diverse and dynamic legal practice that not only includes professional athletes, but also hundreds of “Main Street” clientele including families, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations on their diversion personal and business needs.
Andrew holds B.A., M.S., and J.D. degrees from Rutgers University and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. He has been teaching Sports Law at Rutgers Law School in Newark since 2012 and teaches a similar course in the Rutgers M.S. in Global Sports Business graduate program in New Brunswick. Andrew is a former Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law (EASL) section and is the current New Jersey Outreach Chair for the Sports Lawyers Association, an international trade association. He also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of New Jersey Youth Soccer, the state affiliate of US Youth Soccer and represents over 110,000 youth soccer participants and coaches, as its 2nd Vice President. Andrew is a frequent speaker on sports law, sports regulation, and other sports-related topics at law schools, conferences, and other events.
