Mr Hackerd was probably the worst representation I could have hired. I was looking for an attorney with working knowledge of dealerships so I took his referral from a fellow dealership owner and honest friend. After I had sent emails to his business email from my personal email he still managed miraculously lose my email address not once but twice as well as had his secretary contact me via text and talk to me as if I were the defendant/former partner I was in fact suing. He also managed to lose paperwork crucial to my case and also told me he destroyed all physical copies of documents I sent him to build my case with. I paid him well as he charged me $5000 for a retainer. Upon realizing I had selected a counsel who was not adequate, I opted to change attorneys. He then sent me a bill claiming I owed him an additional $1000 with virtually no details of where these charges came from. At no point did I feel protected or secure under his counsel. He threatened to sue and hurt my credit.
