About Brett A. Poppen

Brett Poppen was born and raised in De Smet, South Dakota. He graduated from South Dakota State University in 2005 and from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2009. After graduation, Brett served as a law clerk in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of South Dakota. He joined Beardsley, Jensen & Von Wald in August of 2010. Brett received his Bachelor of Science degree at South Dakota State University in 2005 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics. He then went on and received his Law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2009.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database.
