We hired Stanton Anker to represent my husband in a case where his brother moved to South Dakota, ran the family out from the house, and then lived with the mom, and milked her for all she had as she was losing her mind to dementia. When she passed, my husband was supposed to be contacted by an attorney to discuss his inheritance but that never happened. We live in California. In the end, after reading reviews, we hired Stanton after explaining our matter and Stanton telling us we had a case. Stanton was able to get a copy of my husband’s mom’s trust which was changed three times, and, in the end, she left everything to his brother. We felt she was manipulated and scared of the brother but also had dementia. To make a long story short, our case went to trial, and because Stanton did not get expert testimony regarding the mother’s dementia, proving our case that she was impaired at the time of the last change to her Trust, the judge ruled against us. We spent over $40,000.

He doesn’t seem enthusiastic for his work, as if he doesn’t care or just want to do minimal. he doesn’t value customer’s time & late for meeting . Unprofessional & not compassionate. Maybe he is burnout from working for 40 years I am not sure but there are way better knowledgeable & kinder lawyer out there. His price is not cheap neither. Imo pretty greedy .

I contacted Anker Law Group for a consultation on a time sensitive probate issue. After two weeks of back and forth with a paralegal who had to run ask the attorney each time, they confirmed what I already knew. 1. There was legal misconduct 2. I have a case 🙄, they proceeded to regurgitate what I had already confirmed, failed to provide a rate, but asked me for a large retainer, because ‘lawsuits are expensive’ 🙄, said if you don’t like it, find another attorney. So they treated me as a nuisance. Wasted my time. I lost all confidence in them, underwhelmed and unimpressed. I find them unprofessional and insulting. Honestly, I have minimum expectations for the professionals, or anyone I hire. These guys were a disappointment. Go somewhere else, I did. These guys must have too much to do and too little staff. A 10 minute zoom call would’ve answered questions and we could’ve been off and running by now. Nope. Two weeks. Go somewhere else.
