William T. ("Billy") Kesler, Jr. was born and raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1998 and is a cum laude graduate from Campbell University School of Law in 2001. While in law school, he served for two years as law clerk to the Conference of Superior Court Judges Pattern Jury Committee, Criminal Division. He also served on Campbell's Law Review.
Upon graduating law school and receiving his bar license, Mr. Kesler became law clerk to the Honorable J. Douglas McCullough on the North Carolina Court of Appeals. After serving in this capacity for two years, he joined Yates, McLamb & Weyher, L.L.P. in the fall of 2003. His areas of practice include construction litigation, insurance defense, and trucking litigation. He is currently a member of the North Carolina and Wake County Bar Associations and North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
Mr. Kesler is married to Chrystina F. Kesler, who is also an attorney. They, along with their sons, Jackson and Bennett, live in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order and an Eagle Scout. He enjoys golf and playing softball when he gets a chance.
