For Amy, practicing family law means helping individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging legal matters with compassion and empathy. Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, she draws on personal and professional experiences to guide her clients through difficult transitions, such as divorce, custody, and child support disputes. Known for her supportive, empathetic advocacy, she focuses on helping clients feel heard and understood.It was during her undergraduate years that she first became passionate about advocating for others, working as a Guardian ad Litem for children in foster care. In this role, Amy represented the interests of children and families during incredibly difficult times, an experience that solidified her desire to pursue a career in family law.Family is at the heart of Amy’s values, shaped by her own experience of enduring a profound loss that brought her family closer together. That experience deepened her understanding of the strength and resilience families can show in the face of hardship. It also fuels her commitment to helping others protect their families and find stability during difficult times. Whether navigating a divorce, custody dispute, or another family law matter, Amy brings compassion, empathy, and unwavering support to each client, ensuring theyfeel heard and understood throughout the legal process.Outside of the office, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her husband, Julian, and their two dogs—a Boxer named Paisley and a Doberman named Kora. She enjoys traveling, reflecting her appreciation for diverse perspectives and connections.
