1st he said settlement offer too low and we'd counter it by going to court, then later he said they wouldn't ever go higher and we shouldn't waste our time going to court because we would get nothing. He said fought for us but we disagree since we didn't even go to court. He accepted original offer without our ok and we got a letter that the settlement was done in original amount (his 1/3 fee and what our insurance company stole back got less than 1/2 of settlement) so not fighting for us.Beware
Steven Peterson is the type of lawyer who will throw ethics out the door if your willing to pay a little more. After speaking w/3 different lawyers about papers Peterson drew up for a dying family member, all 3 told us that 99% of lawyers will not file that specific paper because it's unethical, immoral and plain out slimy to the family members left behind after the death of a loved one. Because of his unethical and immoral practices he has clients who are on hospice, literally on their death beds who have greedy family members convincing them to disinherit any other children and sign everything over to them. The client is clearly on heavy duty narcotics along w/ benzos resulting in a foggy mindset. Steve will not only allow the client to sign but will also have him sign a paper preventing a current judgment from being able to collect on the kids who Peterson is unethicaly helping. DON'T USE STEVE, JUST LIKE THE 3 LAWYERS TOLD US, - HE IS SLIMY AND UNETHICAL. HE'S ALL ABOUT $$$$
