AJS LAW is a law firm with an office in Radford, VA. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing traffic violations, dui/dwi, reckless driving and 10 other areas of law.
Attorney Stratton got the job done, and our case went the way we wanted it to go. This was a very clean, open-shut child visitation case. He was easy to hire, had a pleasant attitude, and got the issue resolved. However, the reason I can't rate five stars is because communication with him in between court dates was almost impossible. At one point, it took him an entire month to return my phone calls, and by the time I spoke to him again, it was too close to the court date for the information to make a difference. He is a very difficult person to get ahold of. For our last court appearance in October, he was late. We had agreed to meet at the court house at 10:15AM, but he didn't show until after 11:15AM. Attorney Stratton seems to have too much on his plate at all times, so if you're a client who likes weekly updates or check-ins regarding the status of your case, or even just being able to get in touch with your lawyer without any issues, then he is not the lawyer for you.
We hired Alan Stratton September 2025 it’s now December 2025 and he still hasn’t looked over our case. He takes 2 weeks to respond to emails, phone calls and text messages. I caught him in several lies pertaining to our case. Now I’m looking to contact the Bar Association for further help. This has been the worst experience of my life. Hopefully I could get a refund.
