Darin Mangum has spent the last two decades leading Mangum & Associates PC as Managing Partner, advising clients across the country and internationally on securities law and capital raising. He and the firm focus on private placement offerings under Regulation D and public offerings under Regulation A+, along with related federal and state securities requirements and select international considerations. Darin’s work spans a wide range of industries and deal structures, including private investment companies, real estate syndicators, acquisition and development projects, private lending funds, private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds. He also advises technology startups, EB-5 sponsors and regional centers, Opportunity Zone Funds, and businesses in oil, gas, mining, and alternative energy. In addition, Darin has experience assisting blockchain and cryptocurrency token issuers, along with regulated market participants such as FINRA broker-dealers and SEC-registered investment advisory firms. Outside of securities work, Darin supports mission-driven innovation as a board member of ZuLoo Humanitarian Outreach, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit addressing the global sanitation crisis, and as CEO of ZuLoo, Inc., its affiliated benefit corporation. Darin earned his J.D. from Brigham Young University in 1999 and is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the Utah State Bar. He is also a member of the Benefit Company Bar Association.
