This was my first time hiring a lawyer, so I don't have other experiences to compare it with. Susan listened to me and prepared all needed documents very fast. She never overpromised anything and kept the process very sane. She had a lot of patience dealing with the defendant, and she was very good at communicating with him to keep the conversation peaceful. She is a very busy lawyer and sometimes may not respond right away. But she will make sure to respond as soon as she is available and provide answers to all your questions.
Hired her for a custody case. She did absolutely minimal work. Made no arguments on my behalf. Did everything the defense demanded without any push back. Just rolled right over for them. Communication was beyond unsatisfactory. Her sense of urgency was non-existent. All she's out for is a paycheck. Do not hire this woman. Wasted 4k and almost a year of time to achieve absolutely no results in terms of progress. I should clarify...her communication is top tier...if it's about her asking for more money or denying a refund. Other than that it is pure trash. Avoid making the same mistake.
