My friend, a new widow, was referred by a family member to Mr. Kirby. Richard Kirby was not shy with his fees which is fine for a legal professional, but the problem was ,she was involved with another attorney who was working on a commercial property whom she felt was taking advantage of her situation. Mr. Kirby, without reviewing documents from the other attorney, told my friend, that she wasn't liable for the other bill. After taking another 1,000.00, he then told her she had to pay 17,000.00 to the other law firm. My friend was without the slightest doubt, had been taken advantage of.. She refused to pursue the matter because of family relationships. I have all documents to prove what is written here today. My motive for this truthful post is to hopefully help a future client.
