Silverstein, who presided over the Rhode Island Superior Court’s Providence County Business Calendar. Ed graduated from the Roger Williams University School of Law, where he was the Managing Editor of the Roger Williams University Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board. During law school, Ed worked as a legal intern and extern in a number of offices, including: the Office of Executive Counsel to the Governor of Rhode Island; the Chambers of Chief Judge William E. Smith of the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island; the United States Department of Justice, Tax Division in Washington, D.C.; the Office of the Rhode Island Attorney General; and the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Rhode Island.Ed graduated magna cum laude from the University of Rhode Island, receiving a B.A. in both History and Mathematics. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
