As COO of Pyros, I retained Dr. Michel “Mike” Morency to evaluate and negotiate a license on a PCT. His assessment was unsparing and invaluable: the pending claims were unpatentable over the prior art, foreign rights were not pursued beyond the U.S., and the risk of thin exclusivity was high. My father owned a transportation business and they have been his business and personal law firm. My father passed away in 2001 but he started using them in 1966 and they handle his trust funds and estates. I have also used another associate in the firm on 2 seperate occassions. They are very reputable and would defintiely recommend them.
I hired Ms. Roacha to handle a health care matter. After spending thousands of dollars, her firm notified me that they had to withdraw as counsel. I asked why and they were very evasive. Luckily for me, Google exists, and I learned that Ms. Roacha was under investigation for criminal misconduct, including submitting fraudulent documents to the court. According to the dates of the charges against her, she was under investigation when she agreed to represent me, and she failed to tell me that she was facing disbarment. Very unprofessional, and downright dishonest. Adler, Pollack, and Sheehan cost me thousands of dollars, and they wouldn't return any of it.
