Reviews for Nicole

Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I contacted Nicole for a long complex custody case that involved previous court rulings, form previous judges in deferent counties. all the while with myself living out of state. Nicole and Maria worked countless hours to gather existing court docs, reviewed endless information that had accumulated over a 3 year history. Her relentless efforts resulted in a 2 day trial. With an acceptable outcome considering the mother of my child is a children's mental health counselor with her onw pract.
After a stressful battle with my ex husband over child support and custody, Nicole helped me win my case. She was honest, kind and caring, as well as stern when she needed to be. I feel Nicole sincerely cared about me and what was best for my daughter. She gave the right advice and steeeted me in the right direction. I would 100% recommend Nicole!
I was able to connect with Nicole through a referral. My case is very complex and has spanned numerous years with terrifying challenges that few have been able to manage well. Nicole has a focus on fairness, justice, truth and thoroughness. In the last two years, my case has been more progressive with a more positive result on my "side" of the courtroom. Nicole continues to be an excellent communicator with all parties involved. She has my full respect and trust, I will always recommend her.
I recently went through a very difficult custody case. After numerous inquiries, Nicole was the only attorney anyone would recommend in Frankfort. I found that her reputation speaks for itself. Nicole is very thorough, well-prepared & receptive to her clients' needs. She is protective of her clients in the courtroom and is not afraid to stand up for their rights. She is also very prompt in returning messages, etc. I'm very thankful to have found Nicole & recommend her above any other.
Beware - Nicole is Average at best. Details are not her area of expertise, almost everything she states is a hyperbole. Poor researcher as well. Keep looking because you can do better than this one. Very disappointing.
We hired Nicole, who worked on our grandparent visitation case for over a year. After navigating the legal processes concerning our very sensitive case involving a child, for over a year, we did not feel that we were being adequately represented and that she was not willing to prepare herself for or to argue our case on our behalf. We were afraid to hire other counsel out of fear that this would interrupt or negatively affect our case process. Our suspicions regarding her ability or willingness to be in our corner when necessary, were confirmed when the other party fired their counsel and Nicole admitted to us that she was close friends with the other parties attorney. Nevertheless, the outcome of our case was favorable to us but we did not feel that our lawyer was helpful in affecting the outcome. Had we not been willing to passionately argue our case ourselves in front of the judge and during two contentious mediations, we feel that we would have lost if we had relied on her.
I echo what a previous reviewer stated. Research and even handedness is not something Nicole excels at. Promoting mothers over fathers, check. She is a tireless advocate of that and undoing anything and everything the fathers right movement toward 50/50 has done. She will turn a blind eye toward anything anti-mother and overstate to the point of hyperbole anything negative about the father. She won't fact check anything the mother says. Basically, her biography says it all. "Massachusetts -- born and raised..." keep that blue state idiocy up there. I'd be happy to donate toward her moving cost.
I gave my daughter$1500. To retain nicole my gdaughters dad was lying to get sole custody he has 3 pages of criminal activity and being a felon she told my daughter that his attorney didn't want to go to court fearing the judge seeing his record so they went to mediation and got flipped on me the gmother who raised her the 1st 3 yrs dad not around so they decided that I the gmother to have supervised visit it was a payoff for all involved ann Nicole did was tore a family apart.
