Eric Buckner joined Katz, Kantor, Stonestreet & Buckner (formerly Katz, Kantor & Perkins, PLLC) in 2003 after graduating from the West Virginia University College of Law. He currently serves as the firm’s managing partner. Since graduating from law school, Eric has been the voice for victims injured by the negligence and wrongful conduct of others.
Eric has sought justice for seriously injured clients and their families throughout Mercer, McDowell, Summers, Raleigh, Wyoming and Kanawha Counties.
Besides his many credentials listed below, he was influenced early in life by the justice system, as his father, Harold Buckner, served Mercer County as Magistrate and Sheriff.
In 2005, Eric married his wife, Sonya Anderson Buckner, and they extended their family with the birth of a beautiful daughter in 2007. His family, faith, love of golf and WVU football keep him busy when outside the office. Eric is a member of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church and Greater Bluefield Chamber of Commerce.
Eric excels in representing the citizens of southern West Virginia and works tirelessly to help them receive the justice they deserve.
