Tell you one thing , do another.
I paid off a a judgment that my exwife left to me. Made a deal for a little less than the full amount. Was told once they received payment I would get a letter stating "Paid in Full".
After several calls what I got was a receipt from a receipt book you buy at Walmart that just said the amount I paid.
Called a couple more times to say this is not what I need , I need a typed out affidavit saying paid in full.
I was told this was good enough.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
