A very passionate and dedicated attorney. I felt that the process was clearly explained and this left me feeling more confident navigating a confusing process. His entire team are professional, diligent and understanding. I never felt rushed and always felt a priority in their care. I’m so glad I trusted Mr Phillips, I would not hesitate to utilize his services again and can completely recommend without hesitation.
I had an extremely difficult & confusing case that entailed federal court remands and so forth. Mr. John E. Phillips and his staff had the knowledge and experience it took to win my case. A favorable decision was finally won after 6 years of prior attorneys not being able to. Him and his staff are a class act. Thank you.
John kept on top of things, and kept us up to date on every step of the process. His staff are highly knowledgeable, everyone in the office is very friendly and extremely helpful. They were even able to provide a list of agencies to contact making survival possible during the time we were working to get Social Security Disability.
An occasional status report would have been appreciated, although there was an exceptionally long wait period between requesting a hearing and getting the hearing, during which time there was no new information to report to me. I just feel like it would have been nice to get a phone call every few months just to let me know they hadn't forgotten me.
I would like them to be a little more communicative with the accomplishments or steps of progression or non-progressive steps.
I didn't even meet him in person or even speak to him until a month before my hearing which was 3 years after he first took my case. The office staff seemed incompetent and apathetic and only did what they said they would do about 75% of the time. At the hearing John Phillips was useless, as was the judge. Phillips and Goldstein put no extra effort into winning my case. They did the bare minimum and hoped for the best. I lost my case and I'm screwed now. I feel used and misled and angry.
I felt confident that Mr. Phillips could take my case, however, when his secretary spoke with me, I felt that she was rude and then after having acquired the necessary paperwork and information needed, I was told that Mr. Phillips would not represent me even though there was more than one option he could take. Either Mr. Phillips has too much on his plate or he simply doesn't care about his clients. It was like his firm was doing me a favor but reality is that clients always have to pay. Sad.
he expected me to do the work, i.e. fill out the forms, without advise or help
