They are Horrible No return call backs. Charge you to FedEx over night. Wont take fax. They want to take more then half of your settlement off you... In 2012 I was told I had no case Then 2 years later they contacted me and said you have a case... Told me it would only take 4 -6 months to get my settlement took years..... They take more money out of your settlement. Your the one that is suffering not them. I'm Not settling for what they want to give me... Call a new attorney to settle my case.
They are horrible to get in touch with no one knows anything and they come out with more of your money than you do! Only communication is if you keep hounding them! And like I said my case was the meningitis case I got 23000$ and I'm only get 9200$! Pathetic how? Obviously they couldn't handle the case and I'm paying two lawyers and unknown extraand crazy amount of extras 2600$ extras really! I do not recommend them to anyone for anything! Thinking of contacting outside this is so messed up!
I agree with reviewer in April 2016. No one knows what they are doing at the Portsmouth, VA office. My case was handed off to a new paralegal who couldn't answer any questions without consulting another worker. Several times I requested to speak with the actual attorney and no calls received or he was always on vacation. My case has been pending since 2010 with no results to date. AND...the case continues to go on & on to no end. Considering starting over with another law firm.
A friend referred me to the Moody Law firm, but they were atrocious. Getting in touch with them and/or getting them to return a call was next to impossible despite the fact that they are in line to collect over $80k in legal fees. They did next to nothing, other than fill out forms and we had to chase down our own medical records, most of which were never used nor reviewed. We never met nor spoke with an actual attorney and were passed off to paralegals.
