I am a lawyer myself. I was charged with a DUI in Portsmouth, Virginia in 2003. I am not friends with Mr. Kozak, but I know him, and all of the lawyers who practice in Portsmouth, and the surrounding area know of him. When I was charged, I didn't even bother to consider hiring anyone else for the charge, and I was extremely satisfied with the result. I have since referred anyone who asks for criminal representation to Mr. Kozak.

I'm new to the area and needed a lawyer immediately. I had called over 10 different attorneys and non of the were as Professional then Attorney David. He made me feel comfortable with his answers and he was Very Honest. Looking forward to doing more business with the firm.

Hired Attorney Richard Joseph Davis III

I hired Mr. Davis a year before the case was to be heard. He didn't call me until the day before the case was to be heard. It was obvious he had barely read my case because he missed the fact that the other parent ADMITTED TO CHILD ABUSE. But I wasn't made aware of that until after Mr. Davis encouraged me to make an agreement. He assured me I would lose the case if I didn't make an agreement. He was totally uninterested in representing me and did not have y best interests in mind.

Hired Attorney Warren David Kozak

Warren Kozak, it’s hard to explain the experience. He is definitely a “ friend of the judges” that cant be denied. He may the best that I have ever seen at bond hearings . He is scared of trial and will bleed you and any one close to you absolutely dry. Give him his 1500 for a bond hearing and if you survive that , be ready for the milking . Past preliminary hearings , I’ve seen nothing that was in even the slightest way, impressive.

Mr. Renninger represented me in a federal criminal case. I was in jail when he was hired. He seems to really negelect those behind bars. He ignored phone calls made to him by my family on the outside & gave the excuse that he had no new information so he felt no need to respond. He always shows up to court 5 mins prior & most of the time didn't come to discuss what happened in court afterwards. Most importantly he made promises & statements that weren't true. The judges & prosecutor laughed.

We dealt with Warren Kojak. He was condescending and rude. He tried to intimidate us into using him by making the case seem worse than it was. I believe he exaggerated or even misrepresented the law to that end. He claimed to be giving us a discount when he was charging twice as much as anyone else. He has racist and misogynist tendencies. He represents every bad stereotype people have about attorneys.
