Robb Ball is a founding partner of Ball Janik LLP. He retired from active practice in 2004. His principal areas of practice were real estate and business law. He was involved in structuring real estate, partnership, and corporate transactions and advising clients in those areas. Mr. Ball was listed in Best Lawyers in America from 1986 through the year he retired. He was a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and for many years co-edited the Oregon State Bar multi-volume treatise, Real Property.
Mr. Ball has served in numerous leadership positions in the Oregon State Bar. In 1995, he received the President's Membership Service Award in recognition of his service to the Bar. In addition to many other civic activities, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oregon Public Broadcasting, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy in Oregon, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington.
