A graduate of University of Oregon School of Law, George A. McCoy is a native to the Portland area and specializes in personal injury law. Licensed in both Oregon and Washington, Mr. McCoy handles a variety of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, and medical malpractice. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McCoy practiced law in rural Eastern Oregon gaining a wealth of experience in a variety of legal areas.
In 2019 and 2020, Mr. McCoy was named one of the Top 10 Under 40 personal injury attorneys in the country by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff attorneys by the National Trial Lawyers Association and awarded the 10 Best Client Satisfaction Award by American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys.
In 2021, Mr. McCoy was recognized as one of the top trial lawyers in America as he became part of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This prestigious membership is granted only to attorneys who secure a settlement or verdict for a client where the client receives more than 1 million dollars after costs and attorney fees, a feat achieved by less than 1 percent of attorneys.
In addition to personal injury law, Mr. McCoy oversees the complex litigation and family law practices at Warren Allen.
Mr. McCoy currently lives in southwest Washington with his wife and his four children. He is a published author. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, soccer, and he is a huge Portland Trail Blazers fan.
