Tom represents management in the areas of union avoidance, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, employment investigations, unfair labor practice charges, and general advice about navigating the union environment. He also provides a wide range of employment law services and advice to management, including disciplinary actions and terminations, defending discrimination claims, drafting employment agreements and separation/severance agreements, conducting internal investigations, and counseling clients about the application of various state and federal employment laws. Tom practices regularly before numerous state and federal courts as well as various administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and state-equivalent human rights administrative agencies located throughout New England and in New York State.
