After law school, Michael clerked for Chief Justice Saufley of the Supreme Judicial Court of Maine. During his clerkship, he learned how Maine's highest court rules on cases and crafts opinions. Michael's work for Chief Justice Saufley's chambers also gave him an inside-view of the judiciary's cooperation with the two other branches of Maine's government.
Before coming to Verrill Dana, Michael attended the University of Oxford to pursue a Masters in Socio-Legal Research.
When not working, Michael enjoys the outdoors, organizing reading groups, and playing soccer.
