Hired Attorney

I asked around and two friends, a well-respected attorney who attends my synagogue and a retired district judge, who both independently told me that Chris Neagle was the best attorney in the state for condominium law. And they were right! Mr. Neagle's strategy was ingenious. It not only got thousands of dollars in illegally imposed fines expunged from my record, it also led to the board president who imposed them to resign. Plus, I and my neighbors were ready to step in to be the new board because of Mr. Neagle's timely advice. I only gave him 4 stars on communication because of some minor problems we had over e-mail & billing. Once he realized the error, he was quick to apologize. (To his credit, our interaction took place entirely over e-mail due to the pandemic and timing issues.) Problems with our homeowners' association that once seemed insurmountable are now entirely gone!

Hired Attorney

I recommend not hiring Christopher Neagle for anything. Mr. Neagle wrote to me offering to help me resolve a dispute I had with another of our seven member, three and a half acres, lakeside Planned Unit Development. All the land not under a house was designated common use land and was not to be fenced or built upon. But a neighbor abutting my house had a six-foot fence around 12,000 sq ft. (That included her house) and she considered another 5, 000 sq ft, that left only nine feet in front of my front door, to be her personal driveway. Also, her house was on the road going through the Development and she had another thirty-foot direct access to the road she did not want to use for her driveway. She had me surrounded to the left and in front except for my one parking spot. The lake was on a third side and an another house was immediately on the right. I was allowed only 3000 sq feet, which included my house, and a parking place. I asked for part of “her” large “driveway
