Amber is a skilled trial attorney, with more than 20 years of litigation experience, who practices in the areas of: criminal defense, family law, personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights, and general civil litigation. She is a zealous advocate for her clients and has experience in both prosecution and defense. She has practiced law in Florida and Maine, and has been involved in several high-profile cases. Prior to entering private practice, Amber previously served as a prosecutor for the Maine Attorney General’s Office, specializing in felony drug crimes, and as an Assistant Public Defender in Tampa, Florida, where she represented thousands of individuals in felony and misdemeanor cases. Amber has tried over 60 cases to verdict, more than half of which were jury trials and has litigated numerous evidentiary hearings.
In addition to running her law practice, Amber was an adjunct professor at the University of Maine School of Law between 2023 and 2025 and taught Trial Practice. She was also an adjunct professor of sociology and criminology at the University of New England and has taught seminars in drug law and drug crime investigation to law enforcement officers throughout Maine.
