I recall how shocked my attorney and I were when the total legal costs were disclosed during our divorce hearing. Mine were about a third of my ex wife's. We laughed as she brought in boxes of documents which were more of a prop. Before our hearings I decided to do some recon on Atty Popp. I noticed she was a smoker and needed a cigarette during breaks. We used this to our advantage by prolonging pre-trial meetings. The longer we delayed the more willing she and my ex-wife were willing to give in to our demands, all because of cigarettes. We played dirty. My ex needed to eat regularly so we ordered pizza to be delivered to my attorney's office. NOT FOR US, but for the smell which triggered hunger in my ex. Small investment saved me $$$ thousands.
