Mr. Kamenetsky is a Registered Patent Attorney. Jeff received his J.D., cum laude,from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, an M.B.A. from Hofstra University, and a B.S. in Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Jeff counsels clients in patent prosecution and trademark matters, as well as litigation and licensing matters, and has a broad patent prosecution practice encompassing a wide variety of technologies including medical devices, telecommunications, electrical and communication equipment, Internet, consumer goods, and computer-related technologies. Jeff has significant experience in dealing with international disputes related to import of products into the United States. A significant portion of his practice includes undertaking studies and drafting legal opinions regarding patent validity and infringement. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Kamenetsky worked as an electrical engineer for the United States Air Force and a manager in industry. A past President of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida, Mr. Kamenetsky is an active member of the International Trademark Association and the Florida Bar Association. In addition to being registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Jeff is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Jeff has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in Americaand Florida Monthly Magazine has named him one of the Top Lawyers in Florida. Jeff is an avid triathlete, marathoner, cyclist and martial artist. His other interests include reading, music, and spending time at home with his wife Rona, daughters Caysee and Jesyca and dog Tiki.
