A Texas native, Jose graduated from Texas Tech University with degrees in psychology and political science and later obtained his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University in 2009. His legal experience spans roles at the Dallas City Attorney’s Office and the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office before he launched his own practice in Plano in 2010. Joining Guest & Gray as a senior associate in 2018, Jose eventually wanted his own practice and teamed up with Jerry Tidwell., Jose now dedicates 95 percent of his practice to defending those accused of misdemeanors and felonies.
