Albin Yates Balius Roach is a law firm established in 1998 with an office in Plano, TX. At this office location, there are 5 lawyers practicing family law, divorce, child custody and 11 other areas of law.
Years ago, I hired Ms Balius to represent me in a divorce proceeding. During the mediation, she gave very little input and less help. There was a particular piece that I wanted to make was worded correctly to ensure that it would not come back on me at a later point. I was very specific, however, the final decree was not written this way, and yes, its going do to me significant financial damage. I wish there was an option for 0 stars on quality of service.
My overall experience with Balius was extremely poor. Her (perceived) self-serving demeanor, inability to communicate in a timely fashion, attention to detail...all poor. Additionally, it was clear all she cared about was to bill more hours.
