Tara E. Hansen is an Associate in the Transportation Group focusing on the defense of toxic tort litigation.
A well-rounded litigator, Ms. Hansen handled personal injury, employment and constitutional matters through arbitration, mediation and traditional litigation as an Associate at a small plaintiff's firm. In addition, she held two law clerk positions that concentrated on insurance defense, and workers' compensation and personal injury while in law school.
Ms. Hansen received a J.D. from Duquesne University in 2009, where she was actively involved in the university's trial advocacy program as a member of the 2008-2009 mock trial team that placed first in the regional championships and was among the national semi-finalists in the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law Trial Advocacy Competition. Upon graduation, Ms. Hansen was awarded the Shalom Moot Court Award and inducted into the Louis Manderino Honor Society for her outstanding trial advocacy. In 2006, she received a B.S. in Psychology and Business from the University of Pittsburgh.
