About Shelley W. Elovitz

Shelley Elovitz heads the Workers’ Compensation/Social Security Department of Rothman Gordon. In practice for 45 years, he has counseled clients in such areas as workers’ compensation, social security disability, long-term disability, and wrongful discharge. He is often called upon to present on individuals’ rights in Workers’ Compensation cases and how to protect one’s right to recover Workers’ Compensation benefits. A leader in the field, Shelley has been recognized by his peers in The Best Lawyers In America® since 1995, is rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell, and is named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer.

Shelley received his B.S. and J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association (Charter member of the Social Security Section and a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section) and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
