As a member of the Health Care Department, Nicholas devotes the entirety of his practice to the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals, physicians assistants and physician practice groups in professional liability cases. He has more than 18 years of experience representing health care providers in medical malpractice cases.
Nicholas has handled hundreds of professional liability cases throughout his career, many of which were dismissed prior to trial. He has extensive experience in all aspects of medical malpractice litigation, from inception of a case through trial, where he has successfully defended physicians, hospitals and physician practice groups. In addition to his medical malpractice experience, Nicholas has also successfully defended insurance companies and employers in toxic tort and workers’ compensation cases.
A Johnstown, Pennsylvania native, Nicholas attended The Pennsylvania State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law.
