About Melanie M. Irwin

Melanie M. Irwin was awarded a J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh Law School and earned her B.A. at the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Irwin concentrates her practice in insurance defense and civil litigation. She has served as law clerk to the Hon. Kim Eaton, Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Family Division and has assisted pro se plaintiffs in the courts. At the University of Pittsburgh she was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Client Counseling. Attorney Irwin is an active volunteer with the Highmark Caring Place, a center for grieving children, adolescents and their families. Ms. Irwin is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Ms. Irwin is part of our Estate Planning, Civil Litigation and Toxic and Mass Torts Practice Areas. Attorney Irwin has prepared and supervised many civil cases from the date claims are filed all the way through trial. She has experience handling a variety of cases and possesses the skills necessary to manage many of the complex subject matters that Willman & Silvaggio deals with on a daily basis.
