Joseph Silvaggio is a partner with Willman & Silvaggio and joined the firm in 1997. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania in 1992, the Ohio bar in 2001, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio bar in 2004 and U.S. Supreme Court in 2009. Mr. Silvaggio has also been a Judicial Clerk for the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Orphans Court Division.
Attorney Silvaggio graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in 1988 and from Capital University with a J.D. in 1991. He is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the International Law Society. As part of his dedication to the community, Mr. Silvaggio has also participated in the Indigent Divorce Program, which was sponsored by the ACBA.
Attorney Silvaggio has extensive expertise working with Environmental Litigation, Toxic Torts, Hazardous Materials and Substances, Insurance Defense, Criminal Defense, Construction Law, and Residential and Commercial Real Estate Transactions. Mr. Silvaggio also has established an Estate Planning and Administration practice for the benefit of local parishioners of several local churches.
Mr. Silvaggio is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association as well as Pennsylvania and Ohio State Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute.
