Jason M. English is a Partner in Margolis Edelstein’s office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. English focuses his practice on civil litigation, particularly in the field of toxic torts and product liability matters for a variety of local, national, and international clients.
Throughout his years working in defense of these cases, he has managed diverse and complex litigation cases in many jurisdictions throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and State of West Virginia. Mr. English continuously and tirelessly works to protect his clients and insurance carriers in on-going, multi-million-dollar complex litigation in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Mr. English believes that effective representation of his clients requires strong knowledge of the cases, both legal and factual, as well as prompt and effective communication with his clients throughout the life of the case.
Mr. English has also previously worked at a variety of corporations and insurance companies within their litigation groups for a variety of on-going legal matters, including a multi-million-dollar corporate acquisition. Mr. English has an extensive knowledge with regard to software programming, network security, and a wide array of technology from his work in the computing field prior to law school.
Mr. English is a graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also attended the Duquesne University McAnulty College of Liberal Arts, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and History. He was on the executive boards and president of several student leadership organizations, and was elected and served on executive committees on both state and federal organizations. Mr. English is a proud graduate of the locally-renowned Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh.
In his free time, Mr. English serves his community as a youth sports coach and age group commissioner for several youth sports organizations, including baseball and soccer. He has also participated in several local civic and political organizations activities in his community, including his involvement in the Citizens’ Police Academy.
