Christopher J. Hega is a Shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the litigation of clients in toxic tort matters, particularly asbestos. Serving as local counsel, he represents various companies in lawsuits involving claims for asbestos exposure. He has been involved in all phases of mass tort litigation in thousands of cases in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
In addition, Mr. Hega concentrates his practice in the areas of collaborative family law, divorce and custody, and domestic relations, with a particular emphasis in family law, working on all aspects of support and child custody matters as well as divorce and equitable distribution issues and protection from abuse matters.
Mr. Hega has also dealt with Federal income tax matters for over 20 years and is licensed in the United States Tax Court.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hega concentrated his practice on family law matters including divorce, equitable distribution, custody, and support. Along with advocating for parents in child custody matters, he has also successfully represented grandparents in child custody disputes. Since law school, Mr. Hega has assisted and represented individuals in federal income tax matters against the Internal Revenue Service and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.
