I hired Trent Stewart and paid him the full $30,000 to represent me on this case. The lawyer did not file anything he was supposed to or do any work that he was supposed to. It has taken me a long time to file this complaint because I was unaware of my rights at the time. This time was very stressful for myself and family because of this case and the faulty Lawyer that was supposed to be representing me. I found out that Trent did not file certain motions that he said he did by going down to the clerks office myself and I was told by the clerk that there was nothing done on Trent's behalf. At this point I had fired my counsel and requested my money back. I sent Trent a certified letter requesting money back for work that was not completed or done at all and he did not even open the letter he had the certified letter sent back to me unopened and I still have this letter as proof in original form. Trent continued to avoid me and needs to be investigated.
