I came into the court feeling I was going to have to explain why I deserve and should have the outstanding child support that was due to me. Because it was a contempt of court hearing and he saw us 6 months prior I felt he was fair to me and held my ex accountable. He served him an arrest warrant and is making my ex hand deliver the payment slip to his office. Even told my ex that this case was going to be open for a while and that my ex was going to need some hand holding to make sure he does what he should. I LOVE this judge.
John Doody is a burnt out old man who hasn’t gotten laid in probably 10 years. He has an ego the size of an elephant. Retire old man. You are just grumpy and lack any compassion. You would watch a baby puppy drown without caring.
I do not know how he was as a lawyer, but as a comissioner I found Doody to be harsh, insultive, ignorant, and he was dispensing opinions that were dangerous. His heavy handedness resulted in further complications to an already sensitive case.
