I am a retired woman here in Arizona with my adult daughter and her family living in Florida. I needed to set up a revocable living trust with my daughter as the beneficiary along with the accompanying estate planning documents. I am in process of reviewing the draft copies Mr. Even has prepared and I am deeply impressed with how thorough he is, how insightful and wise in his recognition of the needs of our family. He is a brilliant attorney and a warm, personable man. I have spoken to him in one phone conversation, and he made me feel at ease. I know he has my family’s best interest at heart.

Although we have just begun the process of filing for guardianship for my husband's grandmother. John and his team have been wonderful. Very honest and understanding. I would highly recommend their office.

I have employed Mr. Even twice to create my family trust. In the last 4 years I have had the occasion to need a couple of simple questions answered. I have emailed John Even directly, I have left messages via voice mail, I have left messages with the secretary answering the main line and John Evens paralegal 'Jacqueline Bartholomew'. No calls or emails have ever been returned. Why would I possibly use a service that treats its customers like that. Christian values maybe, but professional curtesy, NOT at all.

I contacted John Even thru lawyers.com. I never received a response to my query if he was accepting new clients for guardianship and conservatorship. If an office cannot reply to messages received, I have zero faith they would be any better if hired.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
