Frederick C. Thomas (“Fred”) has lived in Arizona for nearly thirty consecutive years, with a six-year period in California. A Deer Valley High School graduate, he earned a political science degree from Arizona State University and interned for former U.S. Senator Jon Kyl. After three years as an insurance adjuster with American Family Insurance, Fred attended the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and has practiced since December 2003. He is licensed in Arizona, California and Colorado, admitted to federal courts in those states and to the Ninth Circuit. Fred focuses on personal injury and habeas corpus matters and also represents licensed contractors in licensing disputes, mechanic’s liens and collections. His adjuster experience gives him strategic insight when negotiating with insurers. He is active in the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association (legislative committee), a former president of the North Phoenix Bar Association, served on the State Bar of Arizona Ethics Committee, taught as an adjunct professor, and volunteers with AZTV’s Hometown Heroes and Stuff the Bus. He enjoys mountain biking, golf, snowboarding, hockey and is a Sun Devil football season-ticket holder.
