Mr. Corwin A Townsend

Unfortunately my loved one and I were not even able to get through to the Mr. Townsend. The front desk ladies are extremely rude and make you feel like you’re doing them a disservice just by calling. I have been kind, I tell them to have a good day just to be met with “uh huh” and a click of the line hanging up. Then being told in June that Mr. Townsend will not meet with him until September. I don’t know what kind of justice system that is, but unfortunately it does not work for me. I’ve seen public defenders more prepared or AT LEAST willing to talk to the client even if they don’t know all the facts. It’s disappointing and disheartening. I’m a human being, and someone I love is being held and falsely accused of a crime. The lack of empathy spoke volumes. My loved one spoke to them and they spoke to him as if he was already charged and those were his charges. As someone who also works in customer service, I would never speak to my clients this way. He needs new staff.

Don't use this guy.he is dumb as a box of rocks , he lazy and he doesnt even have his own office he works more for the state dont trust him he will get you put in jail....... Dont believe then see for yourself

Corwin is only interested in himself and does little to get to the real facts to provide a complete representation. Super arrogant, self serving.

My friend had the misfortune of relying on this guys help to get him out of jail AND fight for him in court.. Not much of a fighter. and obviously has difficulty in finding jails and courthouses seeing how he has not appeared at any of them in the 4 months my friends been in jail.. Sometimes he sends his "assistant" who clearly wears the pants in the office (relationship). Sending an assistant (who is qualified) is fine but when they don't know a thing about law it kind of defeats the purpose.

When you hire an attorney you expect that are going to work in your best interest. I was wrong the day I thought Corwin Townsend was going to be of help. When I first hired him for my nephew I spoke to him a few times and he always told me what he planned on doing and how everything was going be okay. He completely turned his back on my nephew and did not prepare him for his court dates and did not inform him on his progress. He became unreachable and never available for months.

It is almost impossible to get in contact with Corwin. He does not email you back and if he does, he responds a week or more later. At one point he disconnected his office phone and I could not reach him for a whole week. He did not warn me about the inconvenience and did not give me another form of contact. If you call his office you will most likely talk to his secretary more than you will ever get to speak to Corwin. I have caught him in several lies and he is extremely misleading. DON'T HIRE
