Growing up in South Bend, Indiana, Bobby’s family was united in a multi-generational grocery business founded by his great-grandfather. This upbringing exposed Bobby to the value and intricacies of estate and business planning at an early age. Working with estate matters emerged as a calling as he progressed through his education. Bobby Bartels finds satisfaction in helping his clients and their families find value and future stability through estate planning and believes that estate law is uniquely positioned to offer rewarding, long-term relationships with his clients.
Known for his meticulous drafting and organizational acumen, Bobby guides his clients through the entire estate planning process, ensuring all legal documents--including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives--are carefully customized to meet their specific needs, providing personalized solutions tailored to each clients unique circumstances and goals.
In addition to estate planning, Bobby’s practice focuses on commercial matters including business transactions and mergers and acquisitions, and he has a background in trust and probate litigation and tax controversy.
Bobby was introduced to Phoenix by his wife, Lauren, a Scottsdale native, and discovered that his areas of professional and personal interest are all accessible in Arizona. When not working, Bobby enjoys all things outdoors, including fishing, hunting, skiing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and spending time with Lauren and their son, who “commands a big chunk of the calendar!”
