Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.I was accused of assault and had an order of protection placed on me. I am a physician, so this could have had a significant career impact for me. I hired Belen because of her excellent reviews, and since she is a woman and from a minority background - just like my accuser. This was a great bonus for the courtroom psychology. Belen was on top of the game from the first second. She got the case closed before it even went to the attorney general. Regarding the order of protection, she got it dismissed by destroying my accuser during the court hearing. Belen is worth every cent!
This is the best, smartest lawyer/person I have ever met! When my brother was sorounded by police we called her she imediatly got my brothers phone number, hung up on us and called him,she made my brother put the phone on speaker and yelled at the police, she let them know who was in charge, she stopped everything, she got them to leave him alone, she let them know it was not going to be easy for them. We could hear the Mesa Police triying to argue with her but she knows what she is doing.
At a time where we felt helpless and quite frankly traumatized Belen was able to step in and reassure us that we had options and assured us she would work her hardest for a satisfactory resolution. My teenage son needed defense against law enforcement and my family needed legal advice and support in the worst way. Despite being beaten black and blue by police officers that said he was resisting arrest, they turned around and charged him with two felonies. We were all at a loss and Belen was a
My daughter hired Belen to defend my grandson against felony charges for resisting arrest. My grandson was beaten by officers who explained away what they had done by saying he was resisting arrest. During the beating one of the officers injured his hand and this was the cause for felony charges. Not only did we find the charges unbelievable, all the advice we were getting from other attorneys was leading us to believe that an acceptable resolution was unlikely. We were sure we would have to
We used Belen after researching and conducting interviews with other attorneys in the area. She was honest and open with us from the beginning to the end, which was the dismissal of the case. She never promised a particular outcome, but did promise that she would diligently conduct fact finding and keep us informed during the process. We thank her for her hard work and would highly recommend her anytime. Gotham
I wanted to be able to write a good review for this law firm, however, I cannot. I picked this firm because I wanted to support a woman-owned small business. My first telephone call to Belen was exceptional before we hired her for our case. She shared her success in what sounded like a more difficult criminal case than what we had. She told me she and another attorney would be working on the case. She was a very good salesperson. She was also costly, she was paid 1/2 up front, and monthly payments thereafter. Our experience was quite different than what she sold us. Preparation was poor, weak. We had 4 different attorneys at different hearings from her firm. None of them seemed familiar with the case, nor did we see that they were prepared for the hearings, I was on video with each hearing. Our person was convicted. Belen was at the sentencing hearing, her presentation to the judge was weak, not prepared well.
