Sandra Worthington was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. She attended University of Virginia graduating with high honors. She worked in the insurance industry at Crum and Forster Insurance Companies, then completed her law degree at Temple University, now Beasely School of Law. During her summers between semesters, Ms. Worthington performed an internship with the Honorable Richard Lowe, then President Judge of The Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, PA. Other summers were spent working for her family's independent insurance adjustment company, Weeks-Worthington Adjustment working on insurance claims. Ms. Worthington spent a life immersed in the insurance industry and saw how insurance companies will go to the ends of the earth to obstruct claims of seriously injured people and to blackball policies of applicants with less than perfect pasts in order to turn a higher profit.
Sandra Worthington has spent most of her legal career representing innocent victims of the negligence and recklessness of others who have suffered injuries from car accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, dog attacks and other types of cases involving serious injuries. Ms. Worthington's greatest joy is helping her clients through a traumatic accident, helping clients navigate medical care and surgeries, then handing a large check to her clients at the conclusion of a winning case. She prides herself on personal attention to her clients and limits her caseload in order to provide the highest degree of personal attention to each and every case. For these reasons, she will not accept all clients who request representation and she limits her practice exclusively to personal injury matters involving serious injuries. That being said, she is always willing to refer cases she cannot accept to other highly capable counsel in various areas of expertise.
Ms. Worthington has authored three books about her areas of expertise:
The PA Accident Book (second edition)
The Brain Injury Handbook
The Pennsylvania Dog Bite Book, Seven Costly Mistakes That Can Wreck Your Dog Bite Case
