Matthew O. Sanyour is a Partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office, focusing his practice in the area of casualty, general liability and professional liability defense.
Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Mr. Sanyour was an attorney at a Pennsylvania firm representing clients in professional liability and medical malpractice coverage. His prior practice encompasses insurance defense, subrogation, general liability, civil rights, and intellectual property matters. He has represented and advised corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, and government entities in employment, breach of contract, land use, civil rights, and wrongful death claims in Pennsylvania and federal courts.
Mr. Sanyour received his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, with a certification in Intellectual Property Law, and concurrently completed a post-baccalaureate course of study in Biology at the University of Pittsburgh to establish eligibility for the US Patent Exam. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in politics from Princeton University.
He has volunteered as a local electoral official and was elected and served as an Inspector of Elections in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
