Before practicing law, Jim co-founded Brown & Fleming Associates, Inc., an independent claims management and adjustment service that focused on providing clear and efficient claims processing. This role allowed him to develop a detailed understanding of the claims process and to learn firsthand how to manage complex business operations. He later co-founded the law firm Timby, Brown, and Timby. At that firm, he contributed to establishing its legal practice, working on building the firm’s operational structure and developing strategies to meet client needs effectively.
Jim joined Margolis Edelstein in 1996 and has since taken on the role of Chief Marketing Partner and Client Liaison. In this position, he oversees the firm’s marketing initiatives and maintains open lines of communication with clients. His responsibilities include development of marketing strategies, gathering client feedback, and ensuring that the firm’s services are clearly communicated to those we serve. Jim’s experience in both claims management and legal practice provides a balanced perspective that contributes to the firm’s ongoing growth and success.
