A member of the firm's Municipal Creditor's Rights Group, George joined the firm in February 2012. His primary focus will involve the collection of delinquent taxes on behalf of the City and School District of Philadelphia.
George joins the firm with extensive experience in civil tax litigation in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He has prosecuted and defended appeals in Pennsylvania's Superior and Commonwealth Courts, resulting in several favorable published opinions. George also defended municipal clients in civil actions filed in the Court of Common Pleas and U.S. District Court.
George serves as Treasurer of Cub Scouts of America Pack 119 and as Board Member and Player Agent for the Methacton Baseball Association. He frequently serves as an Arbitrator for the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, and has served as a judge in Villanova Law School's Reimel Moot Court Competition since 2008.
A 1995 graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, George graduated with magna cum laude honors, earning a B.A. in Political Science. He received the department's "Top Student" award upon graduation. George then attended the Villanova University School of Law, earning his J.D., cum laude, in 1999.
George is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and The U.S. District Court - Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
